As improvements to signaling, resiliency, and passenger facilities are made and new vehicles for the fleet are delivered, the facilities where these vehicles are maintained daily and operated from must be improved as well. DART is committed to using and maintaining its assets to optimum standards by:

• Transforming existing rail maintenance facilities to be able to accommodate the dimensions and specifics to maintain and operate the current and future LRV fleets.
• Updating bus facilities with more efficient tools and spaces to maintain and operate the current buses and the new bus fleet.
