DART is making strategic investments to transform into a cleaner, safer, more reliable and modern transit system for you. Our customers are the focus of everything we do at DART and our goal is to ensure that they have a great experience at our stations and facilities and on our vehicles.
Over the next decade, DART will invest to modernize five core elements of its transit system. The DART Transform program is updating the legacy light rail lines and the bus network with new vehicles, improving passenger facilities like stations and bus shelters, unifying the light-rail signaling system, modernizing maintenance facilities and improving the resiliency of the entire transit system.
DART has also mapped the customer journey to better understand what the good parts of our customers’ journey are as well as the parts that need improvement. This information will be used to make refinements to ensure the best experience possible for our riders.
We are making strategic investments to transform DART into a cleaner, safer, more modern transit system for you. These investments in our network and assets will improve reliability and the customer journey for the next several decades.
